Interpretation: Adult only - interpretive data values greater than or equal to 10 mg/L

are consistent with infection or inflammation.  Individuals with evidence of active

infection, systemic inflammatory processes, or trauma should not be tested until

these conditions have abated.  When using HS_CRP to assess cardiovascular

risk, two measurements should be taken two weeks apart (averaging results).  The

CDC/AHA recommended the following HS_CRP cut off points (tertiles) for CVD assessment.
