Specimen Requirements
Submit only 1 of the following specimens:
Fresh Stool
Specimen Type: Stool
Container/Tube: Sterile container
Specimen Volume: Adequate amount
Collection Instructions:
1. Call Missouri Baptist Medical Center Microbiology Laboratory at 314-996-5462 for dietary instructions.
2. Collect only 1 specimen per 24 hours.
Seracult Card
Specimen Type: Stool
Container/Tube: Seracult single slide test kit
Specimen Volume: Adequate amount
Collection Instructions:
1. Call Missouri Baptist Medical Center Microbiology Laboratory at 314-996-5462 for dietary instructions.
2. Collect stool specimen following instructions in kit.
3. Collect only 1 specimen per 24 hours.
