Specimen Type: Wound, sputum, bronchial washing, eye, ear, body fluid

Container/Tube: Swab or Eswab
Specimen Volume: 1 swab

Collection Instructions: Indicate specimen source.

Additional Information:

1. Specimen of choice for surgical specimens is tissue or body fluid rather than a swab collection.

2. Do not place tissue in transport swab.
