Avoid taking allergy causing drugs, antihistamines, oral corticosteroids and substances which block H2 receptors 24 hours prior to collection

Preferred Specimen(s)

1 pearl top on ice- must be processed within 30 minutes of collection

 

Acceptable container:  EDTA tube (lavender-top) on ice within 30 minutes of collection

Centrifuge immediately and freeze in plastic screw-cap vial.
