Additional specimen type: EDTA (pink or purple). If testing being added to CBC specimen, ensure specimen is spun before testing.
Specimen Volume, Minimum: Full tube, 1mL minimum
Prozone: Customer service will call and speak to set-up tech with accession number for Prozone testing. Set-up tech will follow SOP related to Prozone requests.
Analyte Stability:
Serum: 2° C to 8° C for <5 days or -20° C for 6 months (serum removed from RBCs).
Plasma: 2° C to 8° C for 24 hours
